We understand that caring for a loved one or relative can be tiring at times and that everyone needs a rest. Having a respite service will enable you to take a well-deserved break. We can provide respite care for clients with dementia, a long term illness and a range of disabilities, supporting returning home from hospital, holiday cover or short term emergency cover.

What makes our service different is that we offer this service in your own home, alleviating the need to book expensive and over-subscribed respite centres, therefore reducing the stress and upheaval placed on the person needing care by moving them to strange surroundings.

New Day Care can provide respite care for a few hours a day, several days a week and upwards to a maximum of 2 weeks, ensuring the highest level of support.

Care workers will be chosen based on a client's needs and wishes, to provide the level of support that is required, whether this be for a few hours during the day or a more extensive package over a few if required; we will guide you through the process of getting your respite cover set up.

At New Day Care we understand emergencies may arise resulting in respite care being needed for a loved or a relative immediately, which is why our round the clock provision will ensure you have peace of mind knowing we can set up your respite cover within a couple of hours.
